Chad

Chad is the starter player character of MemeRPG. His moves are very basic and effective, which reflects his personality. He is quite tanky because he eats all of grandma's food and hides his double chin with a proper beard. Based.

Strategy

Chad is a straightforward character, however, it is still possible to apply strategies to improve Chad's effectiveness. His high HP, simple Punch move, self heal move and Boost move make him easy to use effectively while still leaving room for some strategies.

Chad's Punch is the most simple move in the entire game. He punches an enemy and deals 100 damage. (base stat) This allows Chad to deal high, consistent damage to one enemy target. It is effective for dealing damage to a single target, especially when debuffs do not apply to the target.

Chad's Heal allows him to recover up to 75 lost HP at lvl1. This means that he cannot heal above his max HP or heal an ally instead of himself. Despite the "he can only heal himself" constraint, this move is highly effective for Chad to save himself from critically low HP without needing an ally. On Chapter 1, if there are only weak NPC's left on a stage, Chad can heal himself for multiple rounds straight and the player can avoid resuming to the next stage by not slaying the remaining weak NPC(s) without consequences.

Chad's Boost gives Chad a support factor. Chad provides a 25% damage boost for himself or an ally for the next 4 founds. This move can particularly excel when a particular move that deals damage direcly, is the single most effective way to defeat the enemy roster.

Besides the individual moves:

Chad is a durable character with high HP relative to level (500 HP lvl1). His durability is reinforced by the fact that his 2nd move allows him to instantly recover up to 75 lost HP. He can survive 9 hits from the Chapter 1 common enemy Wojak with base (lvl1) stats. Given that character upgrades are exponential, Chad can become a durable powerhouse if the player prioritizes Chad's upgrades.

Chad is a solid choice for dealing damage to a single target which has very high HP, if there is a reliable way to deal with the rest of the enemies provided by allied characters. However, enemy rosters featuring several targets with similar power, is Chad's weakness. Chad can also be sub-optimal if an enemy roster is particularly affected by debuffs.

Chad can excel on his own. His durability combined with his Punch move, would allow him to sustain himself on a solo occasion. He would be particularly powerful on a solo occasion if the enemies have low damage output. However, solo fights that play to Chad's multi target weakness could be unwinnable.

Overall, Chad is a high HP character that is best used in long fights with high HP characters, or characters that are immune to debuffs. In Chapter 1, his heal can be a very efficient meta strategy when used right. He can be useful as a solo character unless the enemy roster play to his weaknesses.
